Portland, OR (January 22, 2015) — Just six short months since its launch, Lightspeed Aviation announced today that its flagship product, Zulu PFX is getting its first firmware upgrade fulfilling the promise that it is truly the world’s most intelligent aviation headset. With a simple internet download Zulu PFX owners will get:

  • Improved battery life — Battery life has been improved by 10%.
  • Ability to capture a Streaming Quiet™ noise cancellation profile — To allow pilots to get a head start on the quieting process, the upgrade includes a feature that allows the user to capture a preferred level of quieting at anytime during the flight for later retrieval.
  • This version also fixes minor bugs.

“Zulu PFX is the world’s quietest and most intelligent aviation headset,” said Teresa De Mers, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support. “With this first firmware upgrade we are able to demonstrate how powerful the technology is. Pilots that buy this headset will realize ongoing product enhancements as we continue to evolve what is possible with all of the technology available today and in the future.”
